How to Allow Pop-Ups…

Having trouble accessing the ordering segment of our website or viewing Nutritional Information, this area is designed to assist you.

A Pop-Up is a window that automatically opens when you click a link or enter/leave a webpage.  A pop-up blocker is a feature of a web browser (or one of its plug-ins) that blocks pop-up windows.  Our website utilizes pop-ups, so blocking them can hinder some features.

Use the following to determine if your browser is blocking pop-ups and change the settings to allow pop-ups from Andrews Foodservice.

Determine if Internet Explorer is blocking a pop-up window.

If you see this icon underneath the address bar  or this icon  on the status bar (at the bottom of the browser window), Internet Explorer has blocked a pop-up.

Unblock a pop-up window that has been blocked by Internet Explorer.

Follow these steps to restore a pop-up window that was blocked by Internet Explorer:

1.         Click on the popup blocker icon  on the status bar (bottom of the browser window), to display the pop-up blocker menu.

2.         From the menu select Always allow Pop-ups from This Site....

3.         Click the Yes button to confirm.

This adds the Andrews Foodservice website to the list of Allowed Sites so future pop-ups will be displayed.

4.         Refresh the webpage (F5).

5.         Continue to the next procedure if pop-ups are still being blocked.

Manually setting preferences in Internet Explorer to allow pop-ups.

Follow these steps to change the settings in Internet Explorer to allow pop-ups from Andrews Foodservice:

1.         From the Tools menu select Pop-up Blocker >> Pop-up Blocker Settings...

2.         In the field titled Address of the website to allow: type www.andrewsfoodservice.com and click the Add button.

3.         The Andrews Foodservice website should now appear in the list of allowed sites.

4.         Click the Close button to save and exit.

The Andrews Foodservice website will now be saved to your list of Internet Explorer Allowed Sites for pop-up windows.  Unfortunately, setting the Internet Explorer preferences to allow pop-ups from a site will not guarantee they will always be displayed.

5.         If the pop-up window is still being blocked, check to see if a plug-in is responsible (it will need to be configured separately).

Unblock a pop-up window that has been blocked by a plug-in.

If you see this icon  on a toolbar below the address bar, a plug-in (such as Google or Yahoo toolbar) has blocked a pop-up window.

Follow these steps to unblock it.

1.         From the Plug-in toolbar click on the icon shown below (highlighted in red):

2.         Clicking this button will allow popups from Andrews Foodservice.
